N.C. House Majority Leader John Bell has noticed Wayne County and the surrounding area are getting pretty familiar with heavy storms.

In a Wednesday interview with Jeff Farrow on WGBR, Rep. Bell noted residents still need to take Hurricane Dorian seriously.

Rep. Bell says the state has done everything possible on its end to ensure its prepared for the storm, and citizens need practice “personal responsibility” for their preparations, particularly with property outside of their homes.

Rep. Bell suggests downloading the ReadyNC app to stay on top of the latest with Hurricane Dorian during and after the storm.
