RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC Chamber today named state House Majority Leader John Bell a 2019 Jobs Champion in its annual How They Voted report. How They Voted details lawmakers’ voting records on key bills identified as critical to preserving and enhancing a positive climate for business and job creation in North Carolina.
Majority Leader Bell, who has a 94% lifetime pro-jobs voting record, was recognized as a Jobs Champion for his record of supporting legislation during the 2019 legislative session that improves economic growth and job creation.
“I am proud of my record and the work we have done in the General Assembly to transform North Carolina’s economy and make us the best state for business,” said Majority Leader Bell. “Due to legislative reforms of fewer taxes, less regulations and responsible spending, North Carolina’s economy is booming,wages are growing and we now have the most people working in our state’s history.
